A block is more than just a block—it is a foundation for endless possibilities. It can transform into a road that connects people, a house that provides shelter, a button that initiates action, or even a webpage that brings information to life. A simple block can evolve, adapt, and become something entirely new, shaping the way we build, interact, and experience the world around us.

This motion piece highlights the versatility of the block, revealing its diverse functions as it evolves through various forms.

The block first unfolds into a road, which expands into a city. As the city shifts and transforms, it condenses into a large button. Each press of the button reveals new objects and changes the background, as if stepping into a different block world with every click. Eventually, these blocks evolve into individual web pages, merging and reshaping until they return to the original block.

When modeling, I focused on showcasing the limitless possibilities of blocks. To stay true to this concept, every model in the scene was built entirely from cubes.

In the initial concept, I focused on showcasing the block’s transformations while ensuring smooth and rhythmic scene transitions. Each change was designed to give the block new functions and meanings, highlighting its endless possibilities. The process was crafted to feel exploratory, guiding the audience through ever-evolving spaces.
