A rebrand project for Yum Yum Donuts, a donuts chain brand in California, emphasizing vibrancy and enthusiasm through bright colors and curved typography. The design aims to bring energy to the brand, ensuring customers feel joy and vitality while enjoying Yum Yum Donuts' delicious treats.
Yum Yum Donuts, as a 24/7 fast food spot, serves as a “refueling station” in people’s lives, offering both energy and comfort. To reflect this, I used vibrant, cheerful colors paired with bold and rounded typography.
On the menu, I introduced distinct color-coding along with playful graphic elements to create a clear and engaging layout, making it easier for customers to preview and explore their options.
I designed two distinct packaging styles that highlight Yum Yum Donuts’ core offerings using large, decorative typography for maximum impact and brand recognition.
For the delivery packaging, I drew inspiration from the design of nutritional labels, emphasizing Yum Yum Donuts’ playful brand identity. This approach extends to the promotional brochures, where I incorporated illustrations and comic-style visuals. Not only do these elements highlight the signature donuts, but they also add a touch of humor, making the brand more appealing to younger customers.
